They are designed for the full-weight lift. The liners use a reinforced construction that holds the weight of clumping litter without splitting at the base or tearing at the rim. The most common cause of liner failure is overfilling beyond the bag's rated capacity; keep litter depth below the liner's drawstring or tie point and the liner holds. If you have a particularly heavy litter brand or a large cat, the XL liner gives you more material depth for the same lift.

Jumbo liners measure 18" x 36", while XL liners measure 18" x 34". Since the best fit depends on your litter box shape, measure your box first and choose the liner that gives you enough extra material to fold over the edges and tie securely.

For a single-cat household using clumping litter, one liner change per full litter replacement - typically every 1 to 2 weeks - is standard. For multi-cat households or non-clumping litter, change more frequently: every 5 to 7 days prevents odour buildup from saturating the liner material. The liner is not designed to be washed and reused; it is a single-use disposal layer. The 21-count and 60-count packs are sized for households that change frequently.
